I went to Woodmont CT in July to spend a weekend with family friends of ours. One of them said that riding inside of an R211 is like “riding inside of a TV screen.” The tech on the R211’s is really cool. Hopefully they will have enough of them soon so they can fully retire the R46 fleet which has been in service since 1975.

The RED Door lights turn ON, the moment the doors begin to close. Wouldn't it be better if they would BLINK for a few seconds (maybe 5 seconds?) BEFORE the doors begin to close, to give a WARNING to the passengers to board the train quickly before the doors close?

That project did not get implemented. There is also a sign that look similar to the existing signs all over NYC, but with solar power and low-power displays.

New Flyer just needs to deliver one more bus to complete the MTA Bus order! The unit is 9352 for JFK Depot. Meanwhile, no MTA Bus Depot with Novas assigned has completed their order yet. 😢 Good thing for you Orion NG lovers though that they have to stick around longer, but I’m a newbie guy.

Riding an express train is my favorite way to ride a passenger train like a subway train, the Long Island Road, even the Amtrak Acela. When the train reduced its speed to approximately 50 miles per hour, it was acceptable. I believe the purpose was to reduce wear and tear on the flange wheels. Otherwise, the trip was exciting. Your show was extraordinary!💙
